The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center is the new heart of cultural, arts education, and community event activity in La Jolla. Originally conceived as a protected swimming area for children, the sea-walled Children's Pool began to fill with sand and eventually, sea lions and harbor seals. Today, it is a great place to take the kids and walk along the seawall for gorgeous 360-degree views of La Jolla and the Pacific ocean....and the harbor seals basking on the beach below.
